orange ball flowers
by VPless
(Mocksville, NC)
Got cutting from mother-in-law last year and she called it an old timey mock orange but I think she called it that because the flowers are round like a small orange. I have looked in catalogs, yards and nurseries but cannot find one like it. Gets the morning sun. Started out as one shoot and this year new shoots are coming up from the ground.

Pretty little Orange Flowers
by Jean Diehl
(Harrisburg, PA )
This plant blooms in my Harrisburg PA garden in mid March. It is in a sunny spot where the soil is pretty good, though some clay. It is about 6-10 inches tall, but could be taller-I never measured. I saw it for 2 years, but I saw no sign of it this year, and i would like to get some more. Thanks so much for your help.

Orange Five Petal Flower
by Kathy
(Stonington, MI, USA)
My friend has this flower growing by her deck in mostly full sun. It is located in Stonington, MI on the northern shore of Lake Michigan (near Escanaba, MI). Summers are usually in the 80's - 90's, winters are usually below freezing, lots of snow. It blooms thru the summer and forms large seed pods, which dry up and drop the seeds. We assume it is self germinating, the plant has returned for years.
Thanks for anyone's help.

Beautiful plant
This is another plant growing in the neighborhood. I think it might be an annual. I like the colors and it would be a nice addition to my garden next year. Could it be a tropical plant
