Yes, it looks like an oxalis-there are several different kinds so you could try to find the exact one. Some have white flowers and some have purple flowers. My daughter's favorite plant; every year I have given her one at St. Patrick's Day. They are supposed to be hardy outside in our area (zone 6), but we haven't had luck growing them outside. I hope you have good luck with your plant.

I believe this is a Shamrock. I too have one. It does rise and open it's leaves with the sun. Produces tiny flowers.

hello there! It looks like an Oxalis plant. Sometimes they are sold around St Patrick's Day and are called 'Shamrocks'
