Annual plants add sizzle to the garden design with
their brilliant colors and season-long blooms. I'm a big fan (even
though I grow many more perennials). You see, there's little point in
being a garden snob and only growing one kind of plant or other. If you
like it - grow it. And who's to tell you differently given that it's
your garden?
I like annuals. Always have. I mean, what's not to like when something
blooms all summer with no work, no fuss or muss and gives you tons of
seed to do it all over again the following year?
