Sometimes patience is worth it!

Hi I know this is not the typical container garden but I am so thrilled with this I had to share after all most people who love gardening appreciate indoor plants as well. I have had this bird of paradise for 30+ years winters are spent in the spare bedroom but summer vacations are spent outside the front of the house. To my great surprise this week I found it in bloom - one "flower" in 30 years and it was worth the wait.

Doug says that he's personally glad you decided to share it with us! Congrats on the bloom and here's hoping you don't have to wait another 30 years. You have the patience of a saint. :-)
