Veronica

Because of the dark leaves, I am guessing that it is the cultivar "Georgia Blue". But there are a few other varieties that are also creepers, but I can't remember the names offhand.

Blue Mystery

I believe this is Veronica Speedwell. This plant is a perennial ground cover. Beautiful, bountiful blue flowers cover this in spring, tapering off in the heat of summer then blooming in the cooler fall days. Maintenance free! I have grown this in zone 5, southern Ontario.

That is very pretty. I would love to get ahold of that plant! Looks like it would be great hanging on the edge of a container with some other taller plants. Beautiful!

I do believe Nate has the correct answer. A new one for me to add to my memory banks.

evolvulus

It looks like evolvulus pilosus (syn. glomeratus). I've grown it as an annual in nyc on rooftops in full sun and lots of wind. They don't get going until it gets real hot, but will bloom gorgeously and profusely until a couple of serious frosts have knocked them back. I don't know about reseeding. They're native to South America I think.

Best guesses for your lovely bold blue flower
by: Ferne, Kamloops, B.C.

I haven't grown this but I would guess that it is a trailing Veronica of some kind. There aren't many trailing flowers that are that bright a blue. The little white centre I think I can see makes that the most likely. There are quite a large number of veronicas, so I can't narrow it down more than that.

A less likely possiblity would be some type of gentiana. But they usually have little trumpet shaped flowers.

Lithodora has those extremely bright blue flowers but the plant is more compact, at least on what I have seen.

Very nice, whatever it is. I'm sure someone will be able to come up with more exact information.

I should have asked if anyone knows what this flower/plant is.
