Dividing Perennial Flowers - Daylilies

by Doug
(in his garden somewhere)

Here's the deal with dividing and propagating daylilies - it's easy and you can do it at almost any time of year. Give them a bit of extra water and you're good to go. (2-3 times a week for the first few weeks after digging)

This is not the same rule of thumb with other perennial flowers - they want to be divided in early spring or early fall for best results.

So here you are - a video on how I divide my perennials.
