this plant is in florida it has long green leafy growth it gets a purple flower. during a cold frost you can cut it to the ground and it will come right back as soon as it warms up it has a bulb not roots it was all thru the home we have but we can not find out what it is it is very hardy my wife calls it her corn plants because the leaves look like corn on a farm can you tell us what it is
