Is it a Bromeliad?

I found a photo of a plant similar to yours that is a bromeliad. The leaves weren't quite so marked as yours, but the red tips were the same.

It looks like an interesting plant--one I'd like to have! I can't see the rest of the plant, but the leaf form looks like a bromeliad, of which there are many. Are the edges of the leaves sharp? You might google that plant to see if there are any like yours.
