Oh, thank you! It really doesn't matter, it's good to know and I do love to learn about plants with medicinal uses. Though this process also learned about this prickly plant that looked like spearmint. Turns out it was Stinging Nettle, a weed, but has many medicinal uses and nutritional value. Funny thing is, I don't have either this or the plaintain anywhere else in my gardens. << scratches head ...:) And, at least I know I am not the only one that has underestimated mother nature! lol....

I sympathise. I had the same thing happen to my greenhouse last year.
I scooped everything up as best I could and later there were a lot of surprises!

I think what you have there is a very healthy plantain...
unfortunately in this country it is considered to be a weed.

But it is edible and is used in herbal medicine in other countries.
