Hail damage

My gardens (flowers and vegatables) were hit by golf ball size hail last night. Most of the leaves have been shredded, but the plants are still standing. Any hope of revival?? And vegatable plants producing? Or should I try to start over? I'm in Zone 6.

Doug says that this has happened a lot this summer and yes, most of your plants will come back. My recommendation would be to give them a shot of fish emulsion or seaweed (or combination) to help them over the stress and get them back and growing.

But the short answer is that yes, they should recover (although they may not give you a huge harvest)
