honeysuckle vine blooms are deformed

my honeysuckle vine is growing beautifully but lately the flowers are not opening up, and some of the leaves are curling. It gets plenty of sun and water and keeps blooming, but the blooms never fully open up and kind of look deformed.

Doug says it sounds as if you have aphids. This is a very common thing with honeysuckle - get out the insecticidal soap (next year now) and spray at the first sign of any damage (or watch them early in the spring when the growing tips will be covered with small green or black bugs (aphids)
