Landscaping Ideas: Garden Benches

When it comes to great landscaping ideas - the first one I suggest folks think about is always garden benches or seating of some kind.

The thing I've found is if there isn't a place in the garden to sit down - relax - enjoy, the only time you go into the garden is to work.

You do all that work and you don't take the time to enjoy it all. (Yeah, I know gardening is great fun all by itself but you gotta take the time to smell those roses!) :-)

The first thing I put in my garden was a bench. I could sit and see the whole area and plan. It was so comfortable I almost didn't plant anything! Just kidding. Now I can sit in peace and look at my flowers and ornamental trees. Great idea, Doug.

You are so right Doug. Easy to forget the relaxing part when you are a type A like some of us! I dont have a bench but I do have a couple of twig chairs on my small back porch that look directly on the fruits and flowers of my labor. That is a favorite spot for me.
