It appears to be a fern of some kind. Possibly a 'Bird's Nest'. Ferns are kind of ancient. They don't have blooms per say. On the underside of the leaf (frond), you may see tiny rows of specks. That will tell you it is a fern...

I really hope this isn't a weed! It is growing by leaps and bounds but not spreading-looking quite spectacular. i will surely watch for the burrs.

we have this all over too and all it dows is show big green leaves that dont flower but a bur type thing and its so hard to get rid of we pull it and dig it up before it burs and r trying to get it under controll
