Low growing plant with pink flowers

by Colleen
(Lehi, UT, USA)

This is a low growing plant with finger leaves at base (kind of grows in the ground like a moss) and 3-4" stem with pink or dark pink flower at top. I have taken a sample to several nurseries in my area but they don't know what it is. I believe I bought it at Kmart many years ago and would like more. I live 25 miles south of Salt Lake City, UT. The plant seems to like semi-shade or shade and is growing in fairly sandy soil. It is flowering now (early to middle May).

Definitely saxifrage/saxafraga. Not sure what kind, but I've had it in the past.

Saxifraga perhaps

Looks like some type of saxifraga, maybe (based on my 30 sec. google search) and Arendsii hybrid.
