Mold on seedlings started indoors

I started my seeds indoors and am using a heat pad for the first time. There's mold all over my little peat pots - should I start over or will the mold not harm anything? The mold is beige. I left the heat pad on all the time - was I supposed to turn it off at night?

Thanks!

Susan

Doug says you don't have enough air going across the seedling tray and you're watering too much. You should be able to transplant very quickly and this will stop the problems once they're in larger containers.

And yes, that heat pad stays on 24/7 when you're germinating. But once they're germinated, they come off the heat
