Monstrous Plant

Hi Doug,
This plant is growing leaps and bounds and I have no idea where it came from. Where the stems come up from the ground are very unusual because they kind of twist and turn.
Also, there seems to be some sort of 'flower' developing at the tips of plant that are interesting.

We have already had a light frost and the plant is still going strong.This plant is growing rapidly and I hope it is not a weed, as I really like the cool-looking foliage.
