Perennial growing in shady bed at North side of regina, SK garden

(Regina, SK, Canada)

The plant is rounded, approximately two feet high and the same wide. It has been blooming since mid-may, and shows no sign of stopping as of today (June 3). we just bought our house last summer, and moved in in July, and I don't recall noticing it then. I'm a novice gardener, and have a lovely garden full of perennials I can't yet identify, so I'm learning as I go...I don't know what to say about the soil type. The plant is mostly in shade, but would get a bit of indirect sunlight.
Thank you for being there! I would also appreciate any advice or suggestions about propogation, as its such a beautiful plant, I'd like to have a couple in my front flower bed as well!

Doug says he's going to let the rest of the group tell you what you have but don't worry - next year you'll have lots! :-)

Don't plant it everywhere just yet...

You'll probably have seen this by now, but euphorbia only 'blooms' in early-mid spring. It turns green by late spring and is quite uninspiring for the rest of the year. It is beautiful when it is yellow, though.
