Perennial green leafy plant New England

Perennial green leafy plant New England

Low green leafy perennial that expands a bit each year. I'm really, really new at gardening and I'm not sure what it is (apologies as I'm sure the answer is really obvious). Thanks in advance for your help!

sedum

That looks like a sedum to me. There are many, many different kinds. some stay low, some grow to about 2feet tall. tolerates many conditions. sun, poor soil, and not too much water are probably the best way to keep it happy...no kidding!
