Garden pest control using organic techniques is relatively easy. Here are a series of articles on different pests that you will find useful. Let me simply say that I ran my entire nursery for a lot of years using organic controls and if I could do it on that scale, then there’s no reason why small gardens need chemicals.

Many people get overly concerned about ants While they are a problem in the house (borax works nicely) in the garden they are simply scavengers doing you a favour by cleaning up your yard. 

Unless you live out west where the elk roam the gardens or in a southern climate where you get really, really big pests, the largest pest you're likely to see is a dog or cat in your garden.

You might see something slightly smaller and if you do, you can control
groundhogs using this simple technique.
