Neat plant.
by: Ferne, Kamloops, B.C., CANADA

Neat plant, wish I could try it but it will only survive in very warm and preferably dry climates...Like California, Arizona or Texas. Most of us don't know what we can't grow.

I found the name in a seed catalog.
Echium wild pretii
Tower of jewels
I am suprised no one could answer this for me?

hi doug
seems like this plants a mystery. the mother plant which my neighbor gave me is about 5ft tall and about 2ft wide. she gave me a little tiny leaf 5 years ago and this is the first time this bloomed. The neighbor is in her late 90's and can't remember the name or where she got it. I hope someone knows. Thanks from susan
