You want some plant identification assistance and you've come to the right place. We have some helpful gardeners that take the time to help you figure out what it is you're growing.

Why Didn't My Picture Get Uploaded

Title Guidelines

You didn't use the flower color and leaf description in title to assist in sorting.

The plant has to be an outdoor plant growing in North America

Temperate climate and not tropical - this section is about identifying perennial flowers after all. I may allow some shrubs but no houseplants or tropical flowers anymore. Sorry.

You have to give us a good picture.

It has to be in focus, it has to include a good closeup of the leaf and the flower if possible as well as a "long" shot to let us see the whole plant.

We need a picture of the flower and a picture of the leaves

You can add up to 4 pictures of each plant - please give us one of the flowers, the foliage and the entire plant.

Folks, if the volunteers can't see it, they can't help you.

Unfortunately, if the above guidelines are not followed - your picture will not be approved.

I'm sorry but our volunteers are being asked to identify plants from bad pictures, no flowers on the plant with the plant in the background. This is just not possible for them so.... follow the guidelines please
