Pruning Dutchmans pipe vine

I have a vine that is growing very well. I woulld like to prune it drasticly because my beautiful vine is intertwined with an iron trellis, the downspout and in the gutter of my sun room. Will the vine revive a drastic pruning?
the vine is on the south west corner of my house. It is seven years old. My town borders Boston, Massachusetts.

Doug says you can't kill this vine. Cut it off anything you don't want it on.
