this is called honesty in england grows wild and is used in the winter as dried flower with the silver transparent seed pods .

We had several this year & I was determined to name it. After all kinds of research found it: LUNARIA (named for the moon-shaped fruit). It's a wild flower and will spread slowly. I'm going to try and transplant some into my flower garden. Enjoy!

My mother called it Money Plant. Makes a very nice dried bouquet and lasts forever. In spring it has purple flowers. It blooms and then produces the silvery coins in it's second year.

Silver Dollar plant. As the season progresses the round bumps will be come silvery and transparent. It comes up every other year in my yard.
