uploading clear pics
by: Doug

I allow uploads whenever the pic is clear enough to see and there is a need for several pics. Fuzzy closeups that can't be identified are not uploaded. In this case, I do remember the closeup was too fuzzy to see.

the guy who posted this
by: Rick

i did submit the close up but they only put up this one too bad they only let you upload one pic:( I will try to post it again...it has to be in the leucophyllum family for sure...i have seen some online doing research that are very similar in leaf and flower but not in the wild growth habit of this one...I will try to find out by calling the company and see what happens!

Another way

Your plant does look like something out of the ordinary but the picture really isn't close enough for a really good identification attempt.

You could submit a close-up of a stem with flower and leaf or leaves. OR follow the excellent suggestion already given of playing detective and running down the landscaper for a johnny-on-the-spot, sure fire identification.

Hmmmm....

I have no idea what it is either, but you could try contacting the business its in front of and asking them who did their landscaping, then contact the landscaper to ask that person what it is. Seems like a lot of work, but its a neat plant so its likely worth it! :)

cool!
