Yes, grape hyacinths (muscari) They naturalize very easily and honey bees love them. They make me think of home and my childhood as both Mom and my grandmother grew them.

That particular little patch is the only one I have ever seen around all of mom's plants.
Interesting plant but fades fast.
I can see how some would consider it more of a weed.

Yes, these little guys multiply quickly. If they are coming up in the middle of lawn, dig them up and move them to a flowerbed. I have transplanted numerous ones and also given them to friends.

these tiny early spring bulbs add colour and texture to any area, ofter coming up in the middle of a lawn

relax, enjoy and then mow them off

I believe I've seen them in garden centers but to me they are weeds and pop up all over my lawn. This year I am seeing more than ever before. I have been curious also as to what they actually are and their name.
