It looks like a "Hardy Geranium" I use to have one, but did not do well for me .

I agree - it is a Geranium - also known as a Pelargonium - come in all kinds of colours and some of the leaves also have Peppermint and other scents.
Malva sylvestris "zebrina"

This plant is very beautiful, with prolific white and purple flowers...I bought one a couple years ago, and I just love it! Its called a Malva sylvestris "Zebrina". It will self seed if allowed.

They look a lot like the geraniums I have in my flower beds. They don't look like the typical geraniums but they are from the same family.
