Rose Gardening

Rose gardening is no more difficult than growing any other kind of plant. But there are a lot of folks who make it more difficult. ;-)

In most cases it is extremely easy and I should know because I'm both a lazy gardener and one who likes to experiment with growing plants such as roses. I also wrote two rose books and have an internet site with many rose articles uploaded (but I'd rather be growing and smelling them than writing about them) :-)

I note that like all kinds of gardening, you can make it more complicated and difficult than it really is. You can even become a rose expert - able to discuss parentage of rose breeding and chromosome counts - but I'm not. All I do is grow roses successfully and easily. No fuss and no muss.
