Butterfly flower
by: Anonymous

I'm not sure of the name, but they are awesome!! They do spread and come back every year. Mine get pinkish-purple flowers on them and the butterflies love them. The flowers bloom late August in Indiana and will attract tons of butterflies.

I've had these for decades. The flowers are distinctly pink, and it blooms in September up north.

Will probably get white or light yellow flowers, although there are other varieties with orange and darker red-orange. If they are happy where they are, they can become quite large and tree-like after a number of years, and do spread by dropping stems and/or leaves that then root.
