sedum unknown flower color

(Cambridge NY)

I just bought a new house and with it came these beautiful plants. The plants are growing in Cambridge NY. I believe they are a perennial. The plants get half sun and half shade. The soil here is great. I have noticed these plants growing in other places which suggests to me they spread. The leaves are thick and are smooth. I am not sure if it flowers but there are buds on it. Can you please help me identify these plants?

Will probably get white or light yellow flowers, although there are other varieties with orange and darker red-orange. If they are happy where they are, they can become quite large and tree-like after a number of years, and do spread by dropping stems and/or leaves that then root.
