Evergreen Shrub

This is a shrub in my yard. It blooms in April-May and sometimes early June. I have not been able to find it in any plant books. It is located in Beaufort County, South Carolina on the Atlantic coast. I have not seen others like it in the area. It is an evergreen. If you can not identify it from the picture I can e-mail you additional pictures.

I think it is a pineapple guava.
Allspice?

It looks similar to Carolina Allspice, but the bloom is more fluffy.

It looks very similar to a Camelia but I am not sure.
