This grows like a clematis, some type of vine stems. Looks and feels very lacy.

You are right it is the Japanese Climbing Fern. Can be invasive especially in Florida.

I don't know what this vine is but the blue flowering plant pictured after this photo is a Clerodendron ugandense or commonly "blue butterfly"(for some reason the site will not allow me to enter info in the correct box.

Too small

I agree with GardenJoy the picture is too small for me to figure out what kind of vine. Can you send a larger version? There are many vines. Is this annual? What shape is the leaf? flower? color of flower?

it is indeed a fern,Lygopodium japonicus or Japanese Climbing Fern.

The picture is really too small to see detail of the plant .. but as Doug suggested it is most likely a type of ivy .. looks good for covering fences with greenery though ! Nice !
