Yes this is most definately a Yucca filamentosa also called Adam Plant. Don't overwater this baby in the summer. It's a dessert plant. Once established it will bloom beautifully but not always consistantly every year. When they do it's spectacular.

I agree, I've got a couple growing in my yard and they have bloomed the last two years (they are 3 years old)....love em

That's a yucca. I don't grow it, but I think they bloom regularly once they're mature enough.
