A spurge
by: Norm

Very likely Cypress or possibly Leafy spurge. Cypress is usually fairly compact and short, Leafy taller and more 'wild' looking. Look for a white latex sap that oozes out of cut stems. But be careful, it is considered poisonous to livestock and some stories talk about the sap causing temporary or even permanent blindness if wiped into the eyes.
Interesting photo, how big is this plant?
