I was looking for Monarchs and found a milkweed leaf with 50+ of these things on it. Now I know what they are! Thanks for the info. I'd post a picrure for you but I can't find a way to post here.

I don't know why I love those fuzzy caterpillars... I have a fluffy cat that reminds me of one also... GREAT SHOT!!! These little critters are so unusual... LOVE!!!

This is a great photo. I wonder if these caterpillars could be persuaded to eat purple loosestrife, and other invasive aliens.
