Hover fly with Entomophthora fungus

Yes, this looks like a flower fly also called hover fly that is infected with a fungus called Entomophthora.
As you all suspected it fills the fly with fungus which does kill the fly.
One of the good insect controls of the garden!

Is this perhaps a fly of some sort with a parasite inside? Making it puff up... Like a tapeworm (but not a REAL tapeworm of course.)
