when is it best to start a new lawn?

I am ready to give up and start over, adding loam and sod. Should I do this in fall or wait till spring?
Doug says that fall is a good time to start new lawns. The temperatures are cool and grass seed usually gets a good start. Let me suggest you read the articles on the website or pick up the ebook on organic lawn care for step by step directions for creating and maintaining a great lawn. After reading the book, you may not have to go to all the trouble and expense of going to sod. :-)
