Yellow Leaves on Brugmansia

It sounds as if you have a watering problem.  Either too much or too little.  This plant reacts very quickly to watering problems when grown in a pot.  The crispy edges are  your main indicator - usually a watering/humidity problem.  The yellow leaves are the secondary symptoms.
